IN CONVERSATION WITH JAMES GUMMER OF 7 SAINTS
- Aisha Ayoade
James Gummer, restaurant owner, wanted to create a space for the community, a space where “people who live around here who might have just finished work could come over and have a quick drink”. This is how the 7 Saints restaurant was born. When it first settled in the area, it was well-received by the neighbours and James wanted the restaurant to live up to the friendly, welcoming nature of the rest of the community.
Burrowed in the heart of Notting Hill, 7 Saints is now one of West London’s best neighbourhood restaurants. Offering a place for the community to come together and enjoy the comforts of locally sourced dishes in an intimate setting. With only 10 tables available, the restaurant has a strong sense of comfort that’s only heightened by the delicious home-made food.
